hello kind people of the bh community!
im looking to quit my 9 to 5 and become independent
im looking for a way to apply the skills i currently have, which include high level graphic design, video editing, 3d modeling and animation, and basic game development and web design
trying to find a way to create a semi passive income (for example make a video template which many people require and either sell the template or make slight changes manualy each time)
but really im also interested in any kind of job that i can do from a beach with a laptop
my aim currently is around 2k a month
any suggestions or advice will be greatly appreciated <3
also open to suggestions or advice not related to my current skills

(im very new here so if i did anything wrong please let me know <3)

I think you should check Make Money thread. Better still, you can still do some freelancing jobs on Latium dot com

Welcome! (I'm new too)

I definitely agree with @kasak100
Fiverr is extremely underrated and overlooked by many skilled creatives out there.
My advice if you do plan to give Fiverr a try - be genuine, satisfaction oriented, and create some amazing material as your references (including yourself as your intro video) You want people to connect with YOU personally and not with your skills.
If people like your personality, they will almost feel obligated to order from you again.

Besides, you won't be locked into Fiverr. You can also try Upwork and Hubstaff - although both of those are not as visually appealing as Fiverr.

Best of luck!!

i looked around fivver in all the categories im proficient at and couldnt really see a realistic way of making 2k a month with it (at least not for a very long time)
also having to constantly work to maintain my income, without guarantee i will get any clients is a problem..
not to mention the crazy amount of competition willing to do the exact same work but for 3$ and half the amount of time..
the only solution i can think of is to find a very specific thing that i can mass produce (for example some guy there sells the same video of a satellite zoom into earth with just different text at the end)

Are you interested in doing freelance?

In my experience buying frequently from Fiverr, there seems to indeed be the guy that does it for $5 and there's also the guy that does it for $2000. And both seem to be make enough sales to keep them on there. For example the 2k guy would probably only do 2-3 gigs a month but that would probably be enough for you to hit your personal target.
But the 2k guy doesn't just charge $2000 because he wants to, he actually offers something worth that. I say give it a try. It can simply be one of your several outlets you will be using to gather that goal of 2k/month.
