Hi,

This is a first and maybe the future for backlink builders using scrapebox blasts at hubpages to create a more powerful backlink to their money sites, I received this email today from hubpages:

Code:
Dear hubuser(name changed to protect the guilty:D),

Your Hub has been identified by our system as a violation of our Terms of Use.

Violation: Hub promoted through spam or abuse of other sites

This may include, but is not limited to:

- Spamming of comments, forums, or profiles or by email or chat

- The creation of spam blogs or spam pages on other sites to promote this Hub

- The use automation tools to do any of the above

A link to your Hub: http://hubpages.com/hub/(removed)

Because of the seriousness of this transgression, we consider Hubs that were promoted through abuse to be irreparable. They will not be republished.

Sincerely,

The HubPages Team

Watch out!!

Someone snitched you.

Don't worry; this is why hell exists.

how is this any different then your profiles being deleted if you use automation to make them any other time?

Sounds like a generic closing email to me...

My hubpage was getting 300+ visitors a day, so was one of my traffic sources as well as a good backlink source. Oh well we live and learn!!

ya it blows but thats why quantity along with quality is the best mix.... for that very reason...shit can always close in this world lol

There was something on the hubpages forums about this about a good few months back. They were saying anything with more than a hundred or so backlinks as too much. I shit you not..its not too hard to get rid of competitors on there now is it.. they are a clueless buch over there..

dont build backlinks to hubpages its a bad idea, ive got a site that is fully reliant on a single hubpage, sending 500 uniques a day from that single hub.

yep got the same issue, lost two of my hubs.

Well it's time to move those article to a personal blog, and leave the hubpage scene for good.

It's a bad move on their part since you now know you can spam your competitors and remove their hubs as well.

Poor poor way of dealing with users of the site.

Yep, i'm planning on using that one to kill some competition, gotta make the best of something bad.

I've had some trademark issues in the past in hubpages, that were really not accounted for, but still they took me down (maybe don't want hassle) and i had to remove the trademark references. This one is a whole new thing, because these hubs (according to the nfo) have no salvation, so they can only go to the bin.

You overdo it. Try putting not so much advertise and spam and you'll do it right next time. I guess you are doing it all wrong. Although HP are a nice way to increase your traffic.
