I'm Jay, aka Bloody Chuck on the internet. I worked as a software developer at a company for 7 years working mostly on shopping carts in Drupal. I got involved with the wrong people, did some stuff that made me stay up late and be late for work, and lots of gambling, so the company let me go. My goal was always to get a nice stable place, but I remained stuck at Motels. To pay for it I opened a lot of credit cards and sold products on ebay. Before all that, I already had a best buy credit card, but it was only good for purchases from them, and that credit card was the beginning of my ebay craze. Before ebay, I used to post on craigslist offering products from best buy really cheap. It worked, but not so well. For one it was inconvenient having to meet them at the store. Also, people haggled too much when they were already getting a good deal. Then a lightbulb went off in my head: I have a 7 year old ebay account... I started listing many of the new 3ds xl for really cheap and having them dropshipped from bestbuy. It wasn't profitable, but it was instant money that I can pull out with my paypal debit card. At that time, I've never heard of paypal placing funds on hold so it took me by surprise when it finally happened. It only took a few days to resolve, and I thought I'd never have to worry about it again. Some months later, it did happen again after I pulled out about a thousand dollars over the weekend and tried to sell more to cover losses. I was pretty much screwed because I relied heavily on my paypal funds to purchase the items. I managed to get most of them shipped out, but not all. I pretty much destroyed a good thing having to learn the quirks of ebay and paypal the hard way, instead of just reading about it online. I didn't even start learning about dropshipping till I started doing it, and I didn't even know that's what it was called then. I know if I can go back and do it over with what I know now, I can be successful at it. So, reading about ebay stealth accounts brought me here. I'm not sure what the hell I'm gonna sell with a limited ebay account, but I'll think of something. I think my old ebay account is still active but it has a hefty unpaid seller fee and is linked to a paypal account that has a negative balance. Should I forget about it and start anew, or should I try to get it in good standing again? I haven't logged into it in a while because I want to save myself from having a crappy day.
