Howdy,
I've been an occasional lurker for a while, just through google searches and such, but I figured it's about time to dive into the world of SEO.
My right hand is currently broken, so I'll keep it short, as it's hard for me to type.
I originally got into mark-up through LaTeX while working for a small publishing company. Their need for digital publications, led me to ePub, which is HTML & CSS.
I have since expanded my knowledge and i have a pretty high fluency in HTML & CSS, with a good grasp on implementing javascript/libraries. I'm also able to modify wordpress theme, and am currently learning the finer details of PHP, so that i can start making my own.
I'm here to really get the full spectrum of SEO and internet marketing. I don't really have a internet presence, yet I live on it, and i have pretty good understanding of it. So I want to change that!
I'm all about community when it comes to technology in general. So any knowledge I can offer, is certainly available.
AFK, I'm a car nut. Currently I'm all about Audi. Mainly because B5 A4s are cheap, and what beats AWD and turbo?!

P.S. I guess I should add a little more to my intent. I hope to learn techniques to monetize personal sites, but I'm also interested in learning about money making techniques in general. Now I know that there is a sub forum titled just that, which i have looked through... I'm just looking for some direction as to what is a good place to start as a testing ground for someone with my previously mentioned skills, but non really in this specific field. Any suggestions? I'm not looking to be spoon fed. I'm just not sure where to start.
