Hey guys!

Just wanted to take some time to introduce myself, used up my first post though

I've been lurking these forums for a few days now, and decided to create an account earlier today. I'm 20 and from South Africa.

SEO + Web Creation & The Online World(in general) is something I've been doing pretty passively for a few months now... Created a niche site, (Specific Gaming community) and a blog or 2. Playing around with those have been fun, but I want to get more serious with it now.

Well it's great to get started here, and I really look forward to meeting & getting to know you guys! :p:) Thanks for reading

cool cool

welcome.

gaming is so competitive (not really a bad thing) so what are your plans to stand out? drilling down to a specific community was smart thinking.

long term goals?

Thanks mynameisfrankenstein!

Oh yeah it really is a competitive niche, kinda like food recipes and fitness.
I was lucky enough to narrow it down to a specific game with a large-ish community that had not really been "tapped-into" yet, making the presence of an external website stand out already. Where the players really require some guides and stuff (win - win). Being here at least inspires me to log the whole process so I can post it later on.

My long term goals are to have a bunch/"portfolio"(Makes me sound more professional lol) of sites that I can be proud of. Eventually monetize as well.
The whole online, IM, SEO thing is still pretty new to me, and I'm only learning about the vastness now. Want to give many things a try and make some friends along the way, then see what I can then mainly focus on.

Had a look at your profile and saw you're trying to get your hang glider instructors license, thats awesome! Do you share any photographs from those experiences?
