Hi, I'm new here, I came here to learn how to make/earn money. I've read through a few post on how to do so, And seem to have found it so complicated to understand. I hope I don't sound stupid or anything lol.. I don't suppose there's anyone out there who would be willing to help me to understand, or any money making idea's/tip's that won't completely confuse me rofl. :)

Search Google and our forum with the following words:

- Internet Marketing For newbies
- Keyword Research
- Wordpress
- Web Traffic (You need to learn Search Engine Optimization/Link Building for web traffic)
- Affiliate Marketing
- Info Product Creation

Give yourself a couple of months to absorb what internet marketing is about.
Become familiar with the terminology. Read, read, read. Like any business,
internet marketing takes some time to learn. It is not "rocket science", but you
do need to immerse yourself in it for a period of time. There is no way that you
can effectively do it without at least an abbreviated foundation.

And I understand it will take some time and research. Which is partly why I joined Blackhatworld. And what do you mean by an
''abbreviated foundation''?
Did it take you a long time to understand all this kind of stuff, and I seem to see so many people who know what they are talking about and they seem to be doing what they do very well, it just make's me wonder how on earth people learn this sort of stuff lol.

Hello LaydieeeB:

By "abbreviated foundation" I mean that there is no quick way to learn the basics.

It took me about 4 months before things started to completely make sense to me.
I am sure that some people can learn it faster than that and some people will take
longer than that. It depends on how deeply you immerse yourself into it. Also, you
can never stop learning, since the game changes all the time.

The only problem with your "Instant Guru" theory is that someone who
is truly knowledgeable about internet marketing might call you out and

You have to get into the circle of other gurus. You do that by promoting their products
and hanging out on their blogs and "kissing their asses" in general. Then, after you
have developed a relationship with them by promoting enough of their products
and attending enough of their seminars, maybe they will start promoting your products
and dropping your name. It's basically a "good ol' boys club" - a clique, per se. :)

You start getting "fame-by-association".
 
I don't get how affiliate marketing works. It mentioned email marketing and I've read quite a bit about gaining email addresses and sending out automated emails. I saw this website ''Web Traffic Marketing'' But I don't understand how you make money from gaining email addresses and sending emails out. Like what it's purpose is lol.

That has to do with building your subscriber list through "permission marketing".

Basically the steps are as follows:

1) You have a website where you are offering a free ebook if they
sign up with their first name and give you their email address.

2) Then for a period of about a month or so, you send useful
info to those who have subscribed to your list. You give them
the best possible tips and tricks in whatever niche (category)
you are working with. In other words, you start building trust
and developing a relationship with those on your email list.

After a period of time, you then recommend a product for them
to buy and you have a link for them to click to see what it is. The
link you give them is your affiliate link. So, if they buy from that
link, you make a commission from the sale.

The above is a very simplistic way of explaining email marketing to you,
but basically what it comes down to is, if you can build a big email list
of people and develop a trusted relationship with them, you will have
customers for life. As they say, "The money is in the list."

List down all the things that you can't understand then do some google search. Keep on reading and try to organize all the information you have gathered until they make sense to you. If you still can't comprehend it, I think video tutorials would be a great help.

no you can find PLR ebooks that you can offer

PLR stand for Private Label Rights. When you buy an ebook or
an article with Private Label Rights, you can edit it however
you wish and put your name on it as the author and sell it.

And you get to keep all of the profit! :)
