i just started a website,its more of a personal website

i just wrote the content alot and things began to pick up naturally

but i don`t seem to understand SEO? Is SEO about content or keywords?
because in my website i write what i felt,i dont type and keywords because i am completely clueless

care to explain how to improve?

SEO is about content and keywords and many other things. Its also about the way people interact with your content, how other sites link to your content and how your website is structured.

Its ok if you wrote content without SEO in mind. Some sites are very popular and don't have SEO as one of their primary goals. If you are looking for traffic, the most important part is having useful, helpful, entertaining or otherwise some type of content that people will find valuable.

Yes OP, there is no one link that can teach you SEO. You need to read blogs like seomoz and ser, and read whats working for people on bhw. Only then you can implement those methods with your twists.
