    Hey all,

Just saying hi. New to the forum. A friend introduced me to the site not too long ago, since he knew I was interested in writing. He said he just started and he's got an offer of $5 per 500 words. That doesn't seem too bad, starting. I was wondering, though, what it can get up to if you really put time and effort into it?

I read recreationally all the time, and have always loved writing. I figure if I can make some money out of it too, hey, why not? It's worth a shot, at least.

Can anyone give some info as to how, really, I get started? Any tips at all would be appreciated. I've heard it's just doing these $5/500W gigs until you build up a reputation for yourself and you can get down to the real money-making. I've got quite a bit of free time (sadly), and would love to, at least, put some money in my pockets if I'm not doing anything else.

Hey mate, you are welcome on this beautiful platform. I spend most of my waking hours on this platform such an enticing forum it is. Since you are new to this field, I think you can get some help from https://sites.google.com/site/newentrepreneurcuresite/employment-opportunities/time-tracker. This link would give you a plethora of options. Try your luck at these places but I must seriously say never say never, be an optimist in case you wanna sail in this field, as the day you start doubting yourself and blame your luck, that day would be the beginning of your end in this field. Never quit, that's all I would say. In case of any help, then you can always approach fellow BHW members, most of them are very supportive. Have a great time ahead.

Welcome to BHW! Some of the better (in terms of quality, not quantity) writers earn between $1.50 and $2.00 per 100 words from what I've seen. Be sure to read through the Forum Rules and Zen19's thread on how to offer your writing services.

    Good luck!

Awesome website. Thanks a lot, man. The first one on the list...Demand Studios, I applied to them last night. I just wrote up a quick 450 word article. They denied me haha. Maybe because I don't have a resume and I just uploaded my writing sample as my that, too :p

I've read the rules but I have not seen that thread, so T. Hanks :) That'll definitely be helpful after I get started a bit. Right now, I'm just looking for anything. I hope to sit at my computer all day writing articles for those who need them :D

I'm definitely interested, sir. But I can't PM you yet...I think. The friend who showed me this forum informed me that I need 15 posts before I'm allowed to PM. I'll get to working on that right now :D Expect a PM very soon, my friend.
