I would be really careful about the links you trade with. You need to be looking for good quality backlinks that are relevant to your niche so being a litte more careful how you look for those before exchanging may be wise.

I agree with the above. You need to be sure that the links you trade with are relevant and good quality. Going to other similar sites and contacting the owner and asking if they would like to exchange could be ideal.

I would tread carefully on the links you exchange with. You need to exchange with links that are similar to your niche to avoid any kind of problems.

I have an ability to place relevant really valuable informal link on one of my or my partner's sites. This would be one-way backlink. On the other hand I would like to receive the same quality one way backlink from another your's site. Contextual backlink is preferable, still any other high quality natural reference will be acceptable. iPhone/Gadget niche only !

Of course, no one will exchange link with you. Suppose, if anyone exchanges link with you then how could you attain and retain your niche market to get qualified traffic. I think, this was a very childish post.
