I`ve started a 'goal journal' and I`m definitely putting your advise in there! I`ll work on my writing and maybe start there, as it seems writing is pretty easy and ingenious.

I am actually here for a pretty silly reason. See, I am trying to start my own business because
1. I can not work after falling ill, I am now on social security (and I`m only 23, with 3 children, wtf)
2. I applied for a "loan" a few weeks ago that I found on Craigslist (totally stupid) & now I`m in debt over 23k...

So here`s a little run down on that loan (and why I am here) This guy told me he worked for a loan company that gives second chance loans to people with bad credit (my credit was actually 602) And after meeting up with him, he cut me a 10,000 dollar check and boy, I was ready to start my life over. New apartment, new car, clothes and furniture for the kids. But what happens? THE CHECK WAS FAKE, and stolen.

Within 48 hours of depositing my check, my bank took the 10k out, charged me hundreds of dollars worth of fees for fraud and what not. Of course, all those fees they charged me ended up also racking up overdraft fees. And I just sat back and watched my whole world crumble these last few weeks. So, I decided maybe I`ll get back into computers since I was so great with them some time ago (I had no idea how much technology has changed in these last few years) I was great with graphics (yearbook committee and photography club throughout middle and high school) And I was very knowledgable in computer programming and what not, but wow, have things changed.

A few years ago, I had a pretty successful Etsy and Ebay account grossing about 600/month just doing small graphic designs and some content writing. So, I did a few Google searches for starting an online business (with no money) for dummies, for disabled persons, for beginners, etc and 60% of my searches ended up here at BHW and I figured shoot, I might as well stop with Google and just use this site because it is flooded with information.

I am here in hopes that I can put together the ultimate business plan for a broke girl. And use that money to get me a real, legit business - with a website, app, business cards, business license, all that good stuff - and give my children the life they were used to - and deserve.

BTW, I am from the USA, Atlanta to be exact.

This might seem harsh, but if this is all true then you need to seek help for your kids.
Where is their Father?
What have the Police said about the fake cheque?
Even with fees, how come the debt is $23k in a matter of weeks?
If you were making $600 pm on Etsy and Ebay then I suggest you go back to it.
You probably aren't ready to start a business yet as your first impulse on getting $10k was spunking it on a car, apartment and clothes.
Running a business means more than getting a website and a few business cards printed.
