Glad to be here with you all! I only found out about this community maybe 4 days ago, and finally decided to make an account

A little about me--I have experience building sites and such, but hope to learn more and eventually start a digital agency. Still trying to learn the ins and outs of all that and how to get clients, but hopefully it won't take me too long.

As for experience with online, I wrote some nonfiction kindle books but they didnt do much. This past year I started writing romance and erotica, and I've earning $6k-$7k/month, but it's a non-stop grind. Trying to be able to transition into something else otherwise I'm just going to get burned out.

You're freaking awesome bro :D ur journey reminds me of mine!

I started building sites, but didn't know how to code, and then felt overwhelmed with trying to rank top. So I went into domaining. But this whole time I was also a freelance writer and leveld up there.

I wrote a book and pub'd it on amazon, but yeah didn't take. I tried going into erotica, but I mistook porn for erotica lol... so now I have this 60-something page novella that's porno (with a story) and know it's going ot get rrejected by amazon :(. No idea what to do with it....

and now I'm here on bhw :D just like u

Why is it a non-stop grind? Scale it up, hire ghost-writers etc. Earning $6-$7k/ month is a decent income in IM.

Even with ghost writers, it's nonstop. Advertising, testing ads, testing open rates in emails, creating the ebook files, sending to ARC people, following up with them, booking ads, doing swaps with other authors. For ghostwriters, it's making sure you get plots that aren't plagiarized, making sure the stuff they give you is proper and then paying for editing. Plus covers + promos + gw costs. Only get around half back from the gross of $6-7k
