While the shop won't require money immediately, you'll have to pay for Ads.
PPC alone is a form of art you could say, so it's usually where most shops go wrong.
On top of that, basically everyone in 2018 knows they're paying for Chinese goods and if you're being honest, waiting over 2 weeks for a product you've paid way too much for doesn't sound like a great customer experience, does it?

Of course, there are plugins to handle that and local sellers where you could get the products from, but getting everything running is extremely time and money consuming.

Most of the people who post on Reddit that their shop is making 250K/month, or upload YouTube videos with their (rented) 120K car (which you can do for less than 50$/hour, by the way) to show off their $$$$$ just try to sell courses at the end of the day and are worse than your average Dropshipping beginner.

A little bit of research on their personal lives will always bring out the truth and show you that they're not even close to 60K/year.

There are people making millions with dropshipping, that is true. But they're established businesses.


On a side note,
with CPA you basically don't need to invest anything if you're doing it on social media. It's what most IM newbies start with.
