Hey BHW

Been lurking a while now and plan to lurk alot more from now on.

Some background info:

I'm just a few steps away from being a bum, i have almost nobody to help me at all or understand me when I really need them to. I don't even have internet or a mobile phone right now and am looking for any work I can get into in a very competitive city full of people more qualified than myself. If I can even get into a dead end job I will use the money with techniques I learn here until I can be my own boss, because I believe i'm the only person who would ever hire me.

All I have right now really is a 4 year old mac laptop, not a macbook pro mind you and this leads to my biggest question.

I am very new to all this but I assume most of the tools I see here are windows exclusive; does anybody on here know or recommend a regular here who has found success using a Mac for IM? I tried the search function but couldn't find anything about that kind of stuff.

Outside of all the depressing downer sob story, I love music and am listening to something at any given hour of the day. Currently listening to alot of doujin stuff from Comiket 84.

just boot in to windows with bootcamp and you can use all the pc software u need..

Keep your head up bud! Life is hard but if it was not hard then we would most likely not learn much. As for you getting started on a old laptop, I feel you. I started by business 12 years ago on a piece of shit single core laptop but that did not stop me! Ended up using just that laptop to make 3k+ per month in a matter of a few months. So don't get down on the hands you were dealt, instead turn those hands into money making hands!
