Hey, I'm new here. Been reading threads for a while now and finally jumped in. I've been interested in seo for a long time and have done a lot of reading on it, but I'm finally taking the plunge and starting to implement things on my own 
I have very limited skills when it comes to coding etc, but learning as I go.
I'm currently working on 4 sites of my own and 1 that is my dads (main job, been doing this one since '03) I have done extremely well with that one without doing seo, just basic google ads etc, however the industry (and economy) is not doing well so now seo is needed and since its not doing as well anymore I now have time to work on the seo
Hopefully with all the great information here I will be able to get my 4 sites strong enough to replace my income with my dads site so I can quit my day job. Of course I also need to rebuild his site / traffic up so he can sell it for a higher price before I quit as without me there is no business (his words, not mine).
