I wrote a (in my opinion) cool intro thread and I couldn't post it.

Not sure why. Was anything I put in there against the rules or inappropriate? If so let me know so I can delete this thread or edit it or anything. But yeah!

Not as a consistent practice in any form besides songwriting. I've never had any formal learning in what constitutes as "good" writing in any way but I'd love to.

You're writing seems pretty good! Consider starting a writing BST or JV with someone looking for content to get some experience.

I'm pretty interested in the writing BST. I'm out right now so I looked it up briefly. The Only threads I saw were pretty old, some said things about needing to be a member for 90 days? or jr vip?

I'm going to look into JV later and see if there are any restrictions on who can have one or advertise or whatever. i'm not sure what the proper term would be.

to everyone: What would be the best place on this forum for a new member to advertise writing services to get experience? Or can a new member advertise at all? I don't want to accidentally break any rules and get banned.

edit: I found a very informative thread by JamesBlake about making money writing online for anyone else who's interested in this.

donor account - no post req - no sales thread, can have link in a sig to a product website.
vip account. 60 days member - 100 posts - can have sales thread 30$ if approved.
none of the above = no promoting any service on bhw
