How can I dilute my anchor text when I have over 26k exact match anchor (94%). This is for a dead site of mine but inspecting the link profile I see great things.

That is IF I can manage to make more general anchor text links.

But how and/or what type can I create to overcome those existing 26K without spamming my domain to death?

Any thoughts?

create readable high authority properties like weebly, livejournal, blogger, insanejournal etc..create orginal content and link to your money site with heavy keyword variation, what types of links have you built? you can always try to erase some shady harmful links to flip the coin on the eyes of Google, start getting links from Google+ , twitter, social bookmarking this will make your site more crawlable

Hi, 26k backlinks are unusual full stop let alone being exact match. Apparently you need -10% exact anchor text to seem natural (think its more like 6%). You therefor need to build lots of links with your url in different guises like http://www.domain.com, http://www.domain.com, domain.com etc. and throw in some generics like click here, here, more, details etc. As you need at least 90% of them its unlikely you can do this without google showing interest. Theoretically figures wise you would need to add these new links over a period of time and there would need to be about 250k to try and even things out which would be totally un-natural. OR you could sign up to webmaster tools if you haven't got one already and remove some links by submitting a link removal request which is the safer and definitely cheaper option by using the disavow tool: https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/2648487?hl=en.

Omagad,

You could start by putting a link to that site in any forum signatures. 26K is going to be a large number to dilute but if you put generic anchor text in a dozen places that will continuously build links (i.e. social media, forums, etc), you could get going slightly faster.

Best,

Shawn

94%? Damn! You need to be running 10 copies of GSA to dilute that shit man!

web2s are perfect for anchor diversification coz its free...

just run gsa web2s for that..

Regards

ya 94% is really high

you have a few choices. remove links if you know of a few sitewide low quality sites that have your links. that can easily dilute the overall % and reduce exposure since google looks at sitewides.

then i would recommend using only non-anchor links for the next few months. you also want to make sure there is diversity in the pages you are backlinking on your website. a big mistake people make.
