Aya Pirates,
Facebook targeting has been becoming less and less, finding interest and all that is pushed towards actions and running first to adopt the algorithm.
Now you don't want to run in the wild right and spend hundreds, especially if you are pushing a high-paid offer. The learning phase can take a long and expensive time.
Lead generation campaigns are however often the best.
So a little trick that you can use is creating a couple of 1 to 4-minute videos on the subject of your niche, you can run these on a few bucks under awareness and set your target on Thru View. Now you will want to go to Audience in your Facebook ad account and set up your own custom audiences like so.
I would recommend setting up a couple of audiences here such as 50% views of your video, 75%, 95%, and ThruPlay.
You will get something like this with the videos, this is from one of my accounts but you can set the budget a lot lower and just depends on how fast you want to populate these audiences you have setup.
For me, it's insane cheap as I am selling high-paid offers.
Now you will also want to create look-a-like audiences and let these fill up as well.
A bit like this.
As you can see here I got a look-a-like audience on 1% targeting the people that watched 95% of the videos.
The videos I am running are a bit boring but they are on the exact subject of the people I want to sell to.
Just to dumb it out in words, let's say you want to sell something to people who love/ like or need "Weightloss" You can get super creative with your videos like what would a fat person watch for 75 or 95% of the 1-ton 3-minute video.
Overweight people really DO enjoy their food more than other adults, just a basic example would be a simple but long video on foods with the most sugar, but in your video, you are not going to sell anything but most "fit" people would probably turn that shit off before they watched 75% of the video while fat people might watch the entire thing.
Whatever you can think of that fat people would watch so you collect the most precise audience, this is probably not the best example but you get the drift.
If you want to target people with Anxiety and sell them CBD gummies create some simple videos that relate to people that have Anxiety and try and make them as boring as possible for those who don't have Anxiety.
In a matter of days and with a much smaller budget you can collect these audiences and run to around 3 million +/- people in a much more targeted way than spending hundreds of thousands on lead campaigns that run a learning phase for a long time.
You can get insane creative, you could for example even run a dumb video ad with plus-sized clothing for females to fill up your audiences (Keep the video clean, entertaining and kinda make sure you leave people on a positive note as this will also help your page reputation and your account reputation, which will help you safe on CPCs as that is still how Facebook works.
Picture a random ass video about some cute grandma making clothes for plus-size females and just turn it into a happy-ass positive video with some random images of cool plus-sized clothing and whatever AI can fix up for you. (Just out of the top of my head)
In the end, the more positive the video the better your likes, shares, and reputation but don't make the video too interesting that the non-fat people don't watch.
LMAO Excuse just typing this out of my head I am running some other stuff atm but it very pretty much this..
Anyway, Facebook will see ZERO issues with these videos, and when your audiences and look-a-like are filling up build out your lead campaign and get much faster results.
Hope this helps some out there, will be around for questions.
