They ask for the coupon code when you enter your credit card information. I think this is only for new accounts. And yes they have to approve your ad before it is placed in the network, mine is awaiting approval right now. I'll let you guys know how it goes...

I don't like the idea of giving my credit card info to MySpace, but for $75 worth of free ads... I'll take that risk :D.

MySpace WILL charge you $25 for signing up to this with or without the coupon code. It's pending in my online bank account statement right now.

Those bastards hid that little fee pretty well. Agh.

So just beware that they WILL temporarily charge $25, but it will be returned.

You can overcome this by using a private proxy and a VCC - worst deal you can get - about $17 both. Do the math...
