Hi everyone. My name is Noura and I am a recent college grad. I am originally from Kuwait but have been in the United States for the last four years earning my Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science. My courses were extremely programming-intensive and covered a little too much practice and not enough theory for my liking. About 2 years into my education I decided to not to pursue Computer Science any further as my college professors were portraying it as a field where each of us will graduate and work as full-time software developers. Of course this was something I was no longer interested in after being saturated with menial Java programming tasks. I attempted to transfer into my university's top-rated Business School for my third year hoping to change my course to Quantitative Finance and land a banking job upon graduation. I ended up being unable to transfer due to "low" grades. As if somebody who spent the past 2 years learning the ins and outs of Java, C, SOL the UNIX system, so on and so forth would be unable to grasp simple Finance concepts...
Anyways I contested their decision but to no avail. I was forced to continue Computer Science and eventually graduated. I worked a temporary position at Comcast in Philadelphia as a Software Dev but I was not hired full-time. I am attempting to start my own business (a casual restaurant, similar to "chipotle") and have been doing research on various things such as marketing and branding. I found this website looking for ways to get "legitimate" looking reviews on places like Yelp without them actually being legitimate. There is a lot of good stuff here and I'm hoping to learn.
