Hey everyone... I'm new to this whole thing and I have a couple questions. I have a meta refresh set up on my website to send traffic to a sextronix website. I'm going to list my stats below. I've noticed an arbitrary conversion number of 10% thrown around the forum, but I just want to nip the conversion problem in the butt sooner than later if my numbers are abnormal.
I've only been redirecting to this affiliate for two days, but I'm just curious what these numbers show.
Day 1: 20 uniques, 24 raw, 4 join hits, 0 attempts
Day 2: 32 uniques, 36 raw, 13 join hits, 1 attempt
So when it says join hits, does it mean users that have at least clicked and went to join the affiliate's program? If so, then what is the difference when they list "attempts?"
Regardless, I'm still pennyless at this point and I'd like to better understand how this works. Right now I'm getting paid "per sign up," but they offer payment per "active trial," although I don't understand the difference in that either. Can anyone clear this up for me?
I'm also willing to try another affiliate that may convert better... I get a lot of my traffic from social media and videos, so that could be part of the problem.
