Our band are rivals of another local band and we are both in a poll where we are directly competing against each other. It gets more convoluted because the drummer plays in both bands.

Anyway, they are currently #1 in the poll and we are #7 so if you don't mind taking 5 minutes out of your busy day to vote for us and give a little boost it would be most appreciated.

...i just remembered that my mail provider let me set up multiple mail-adresses for one account. and their voting system really counted them as individual adresses.
...as i have more then one account a little copy&paste just got you guys 12 votes in a row.

besides that - what is the benefit for your band if you reach the top of the charts there?

There is no prize for winning, it is more a matter of prestige. I truly don't understand why the drummer sees the other band as credible rivals but they have promoted themselves a lot and the fact that they are currently #1 in the local charts just makes things worse for our band.

...a matter of prestige is a reasonble motivation in a competition.

Just a small tip: they seems to accept emails from 10minutemails, so unless they get removed later on, it's yours to take
