I just got a message from youtube that one of my videos :

Your video may include clips that are owned by a third party.

Your video is blocked in some countries.

Here are the details:

Visual content administered by:
Lionsgate

Now, as I checked the list of blocked countries, it seems it has listed all countries.

Also, there are about a hundred the same videos in youtube an yet the aren't removed or blocked. How did they able to escape the videos being blocked or cited for copyright?

I just got into youtube three days ago. :-)

Cheers!!!

music is a score from videocopilot.. vid is ripped from dailymotion.. what the heck is going on.. I must be doing something wrong.. thanks anyway..

maybe the owner of vc made a DCMA claim against you...

It just means that your video won't display in the results for some contries. Also as far as I know there is nothing to worry about, but you can't monetize this type of videos, chances are that they are already monetized by the original owners and your videos might get ads displayed on them from the original owner.
If you are planning on trying to make money with ads it's impossible, however if you are just using them for traffic, there shouldn't be a problem.

Simple. Changed the music and wait that's all!

Ok here's what I did, I just copied all the tags and description (spun a little), recreated the vid (I use camtasia) by flipping the video. Uploaded it in another yt account and waiting for another copyright notice. There is no issue with the music and I am not the only one ripping the video from dailymotion.

I will be waiting for three to 5 days and check if the video snaps with copyright notice again.

Thanks guys and good day!

Delete this video. In similar cases, I have converted the video to multiple format, by reducing clarity, by Cropping the videos, by cutting the videos, still it matches. Have increased the pitch of audio, have decreased pitch of the audio, still they are able to match. Using camtasia and other tools, much of our time will be lost in that way, rather move on to other videos. :)

My advice - Download all videos which are available on youtube, content will be almost same (one video might be uploaded by different users, some uses the same video recorded with their cams, etc.), try uploading all those videos, one of them might pass. :) This is from my experience.

My adsense account got banned once, now using another one, be cautious on what you do, each moves, dont commit silly mistake. I am live with my another account now.
