    Dear SEO Experts,

I am making a product based wordpress sites and using Estore theme. The site will not be updated regularly. Should I let category pages indexed or not? Should I make no follow to my category section? Some experts say I should not because it results duplicate content? What's your opinion?

i never put nofollow to category section, i just leave them like that and it seems to be okay. I don't understand why you would put nofollow. By the way, i think category get index autoamticly by search engine, you do not have to worry about it.

Because category page leads same page that I already have. Some experts say category section needs to no follow to scape from Duplicate Content issue.:(

who have u been talking to is my question lol

Whats the Main Thing About Ranking? Content!

1 million products will ALWAYS get outranked by great content. So you having a product store and trying to rank it how you want wont happen.

What i would do is figure out a keyword and your lsi (im sure you have done that and have them)

Then get articles wrote for it, and put them on your site as pages, But Hide Them. At least then they will be visible to bots and not customers. Then at least you can Rank for your keyword and have your products in the first spot.

On top of that, I would head over to "SEO Smart Links" in WP and set up your internal links, then that way your site is interlinked and you dont have to worry about losing anything or dupe content or w/e your talking about.

As far as Indexing, WP will do that on its own since its a big Authority.

If your category happens to compete for the same keyword it would dilute the actual page' ranking power. If you're really careful at categories then there should be no problem. I'm not careful, so I noindex them

From Now I will set /%category%/%postname%

This will help me to set more keywords in each link...
