I don't know if this is the right section of the forums, if it's not i am sorry. I am looking for someone to kinda help me / mentor me on the so called "ways" of YouTube. What i mean by that is that you possibly have a viral video on a channel of your own. I just really need help and if someone is willing i would be really grateful and i would possibly pay or become my partner in YouTube. Please post below if you can help me. Thanks for taking the time to look at this!

Be absolutely funny or stupid and your video may just go viral. Learn from other videos that have went viral, some are just simple videos filmed from their camera phone of them doing something stupid. If someone happens to share it on a popular forum, blog, fb page, or whatever it will take on a life of its own and spread like cancer if everyone else shares it as well.

I appreciate the tips my question is though, where do people that make fails, win videos where do they get the videos before anyone else does? Also i am guessing that is another reason they go viral, because they have a video that no one else does ?

They must have a lot of resources or people are submitting it to them.

Take a look at this video, it has tons of views and it's nothing more than a compilation of funny bloopers that have been shared through out the year.

So for the most part, people are more then likely submitting them, and do you think its a good idea to put together a compilation like that video take separate clips and put them together ?

I'd suggest researching rare videos in the strange/funny niche, since you need to come across a goldmine for the effort to pay off.
But what I really recommend is creating videos yourself. I understand this takes actual talent but you have to ask yourself; what does everyone share on social sites with their own free will? These can be cartoons, voice overs, music videos etc. You have a brain!

Hmm yeah makes sense, id just thought it would be fun to make compilations I've done them before, but they are kind of hard to get them to go viral seeing how everyone already has the video when i get it lol

That video I just posted yesterday had 2 million views now it has 4 million views and is being featured on the front page of youtube o_O

Also another channel you can learn from is amazinglife247. Take a look at their website as well, people can submit videos to them. The last that I remember is that the video becomes exclusively theirs and cannot be posted anywhere else or on any other channel. Look at fail army as well, I think they do the same thing.

So that video was yours? Also yes that is a great idea with a website where people can submit videos and they can buy the videos off of the submitters if they own the content.

LOL no no, I meant to say posted here in this thread.

Still looking for someone who has had a viral video

I loaning your thread a bit. Yesterday I posted a video that I speant 30+ hours on creating hoping it would go viral. It now has 600 likes and 5000 views, all real. I was hoping for alot more since no one else has done it yet for 2013 and last years verison (posted by someone else) has 3 million views. The video is the same concept, and I did not do anything worse than him.

I tried to post it on reddit, but someone had already posted it and it didn't have many likes. I also added a click-to-tweet link at the top of the description, but that doesn't seem to help.

Does anyone else have any advice on what I can do to make it go viral?
