Help with Xsserver download problem

So I just signed up for a Vps with xsserver and I set everything up, even got it working with another user profile besides my admin. But my problem is I did all the updates first thing, then I went to Internet explorer and tried to download google chrome... I got an error and it did not work.

So I went into internet options and tried to change the security level, but it only will allow High, so I went into custom level and clicked to allow the javascript and script as well as to allow downloads. Restarted internet explorer, tried again, nothing. Same error. So then I tried to go to Dropbox and download that, dropbox gave me error 5xx.

What am I doing wrong? I know quite a bit about computers, even googled this problem to death, I couldnt find anything that helped me. Created a ticket, but I need to work now.

Any one have any ideas?

I did exactly what you said and it worked without a problem, if you can't find what to do you could copy and paste the google chrome download from your home computer onto the remote desktop.

Or wait for support,they reply fairly quickly.

I got it to work, in the advanced settings, I had to check to allow signed applications.

Is everyone elses security level stuck at High?
