    Hi Guys,

I've just installed WPManagerDX and all is fine until I click 'install'. Then I get a pop up windos that states "Please don't close this window until completed. Project #2. bluehost". The window just stays and the blog is never installed. Has anyone else had this issue?

Try their help desk. I had nothing but problems with that software, but their helpdesk usually figured it out. I don't even use it anymore it got to be such a hassle and fantastico and update plugins have made it easy to keep up to date.

But, it probably depends on how many blogs you want to run and how often you log in to them.

OK. My problems always seem to revolve around my hosts not allowing other programs to install into my cpanels. I ran WPMDX on one host and try to install blogs on both that host and my account on a different host. Security settings on the other host usually stopped it from working. Then there was a problem with the most recent version of WP.

I think the most recent version is 2.4 or 2.5. I don't know which version you have but if you can find a newer version it might help.

If you have a host that is "funny" about remote connections to there servers, install WPMDX on another domain on the same account and use it as a "admin" panel. That way the host does not see it as a remote conection.

yes exactly. As for me i have several blogs across various domains/IPs and its getting a BIATCH to manage them, i need wpmanagerdx, i just wrote to the programmer since she has a special going on.

Fantastico is good for initial install and update, but what if you have 20-100 blogs....just ONE fricking theme/plugin update ---> nightmare.
wpmanagerdx looks pretty solid to me.
