i installed recently ubuntu on my laptop,and i created a 20GB partition but my laptop still slow,what's the problem?and how to fix it?

It maybe a setting in your bios. How old is your laptop? Maybe your harddrive is defective, do you have enough memory aboard? It can be a lot of things, maybe it's time to buy a new laptop.

Or you can try to install some lightweight Linux distribution - Lubuntu, Elementary OS, LXLE and many many others...
