Because of Twitter's new update, to buy Twitter Premium you now need to verify your phone number by SENDING sms from the number (instead of receiving sms to your number as before).

Can you tell me if there is a service where I can rent a phone number and send sms from it?

Actually haven't tried if you need to do the same thing while using the US Twitter. Although, in general, you can come across sms verification services. Most of them are VoIP so not really useful for Twitter. Check around the Marketplace section or post on the Want to Buy section for services on offer which utilise physical mobile numbers perhaps.

Yes, there are services to rent virtual phone numbers to send SMS. But check the marketplace for one that will be acceptable on Twitter.

Renting a phone number to send SMS may violate Twitter's terms of service; it's safer to use your own phone number for verification.

There are services like Twilio, TextNow, and Burner that provide virtual phone numbers for sending SMS, but be aware that Twitter may flag or block numbers from these services.
