Target some long tail keywords and get quality backlinks.

I would ask you to start from basic. Do the right thing and have patience. There are lots of resource you will find in this forum., try going through.

Fisrt you need to implement a good SEO strategy to bring more traffic to your site. Try theses simple steps, it might bring some traffic because, to implement adsense in your blog, you must have some minimum traffic coming in:

1. Add your focus keyword in the URL
2. Add keywords in the title of your blog post.
3. Add at least two focus keywords in the first paragraph of the post.
4. And then add one keyword in the consecutive paragraphs.
5. And at the last paragraph, add two focus keywords.
6. Add keywords in the image alt attributes.
