im looking to starting Affiliate coz i got told its better than adsense :)

now i know you need to plan everything out and i have and i just have to put it onto a site now i was just wondering if i could use Freewebs as a free website and if i can goo now

how do i get started in Affiliate ive looked around for days and dunno how

If you are going to start with a free website I would go with Blogger or Wordpress instead of Freewebs. First you need to figure out what niche you want to promote. I suggest not starting out with the Internet marketing or make money online niche, because it is very competitive and hard for a newbie to make money in, plus everyone in that niche knows what affiliate marketing is so they know when someone is selling to them.

Start out with Clickbank to find a product to sell.

After you find your niche product you want to do some keyword research on your product and niche using the free Google keywords tool or any other keyword research program like NicheBot, Overture, Wordtracker, etc.

You can then set up a blog or create a lens at Squidoo that contain content based on your keywords. If you can't write content, then hire a freelancer to do it for you.

Alternatively you can just buy a domain and redirect it to your affiliate link and promote it via PPC, but this can be costly and hard for someone new to the game. Get yourself experienced with free traffic first and make some money, then you can move on to Adwords and other paid advertising sources.

Thanks, Hope it helps for all newbies... :)

honestly, if you read this site for about 2 weeks every day for about a 4 hours a day and on the first day of the 3rd week, you go out and buy 1 domain for 5.99 w/some special coupon for godaddy. then you upload your site to a host (6.99/mo) you will make more money.... and you will have an appreciating asset (a domain and a brand....theres only so many words that can be used to create a domain and they disappear every day). People wont return to a site on freewebs 9/10 times and its much harder to drive traffic there than it is to drive traffic to a hosted domain

people remember domains. hope it helps. dont be afraid to lose 50 bucks before you start to see a return. i was down about 30 bucks after a couple months. then i got my first check which will cover me for the rest of the year, unless i upgrade my hosting.
