Help with social networking site

i have an idea for a social networking site. any suggestions or advice on scripts? i remember there being a course on this but i cant remember who it was by or what the name was. any help would appreciated.

If you have the idea i would suggest programming it yourself.

Hi guy's i am looking to start a social network site but do not know what script to purchase , there are so many free an paid scripts being sold online and all of them are looking very decent .

Some of them are phpfox, social engine ,isocial ect..

The budget is not a problem , i like to have an open source script that can easily
edited to my likings and such , also must have the ability to develop apps like facebook ,chat with friends while there online ,forums ect... (must be expandble in every way)

Also i want the ability to let people see there facebook feeds on the site so that they do not have to go to facebook every time to see what there friends have commented (is that even possible?)

What do you guys advice to get for such a project
