Hi, I'm new to proxy.

I set it up in my anti-detect browser but I get this message when trying to access any website:

Forbidden: requests to this domain are blocked using the Datacenter and ISP proxy networks, please get access via a SERP API zone or contact your account manager to assist

What am I doing wrong?

Thanks

I'm using brightdata. Wrote to them but it's Saturday today.

It worked fine at first when I was using random shared proxy. Then I set it up to shared proxy in specific country and getting this error now.

The fact that you're encountering this error from "any website" suggests that there may be an issue with the proxy integration. The error message indicating a connection block to a specific domain. It is unusual if it appears across different domains.

Here are some steps you might try (while waiting for a response from the proxy provider):
  • Reach out to the support team of your anti-detect browser.
  • Watch a few YouTube tutorials on setting up your anti-detect browser or read some articles on your anti-detect browser's blog.
  • Try connecting through the same proxies using a different tool (another anti-detect browser, for example).

Thanks for the reply.

On some sites it's just saying that connection is not private. Does this give you any clue to what's wrong?

Maybe try switching to HTTPS instead of HTTP if that's an option. Definitely seems like a proxy issue though

This just confirms the initial hypotheses.
Your proxy provider is a very large company. It seems unlikely they would sell proxies with such issues. However, the anti-detect browser worked fine with other proxies, indicating the problem specifically arises at the intersection of proxy and browser integration. That’s my assessment. Only the support teams of the proxy or the browser can solve this problem, as the variations and nuances are vast.

As well as the other suggestions in this thread this could possibly also be ACL related. Might be worth double checking your access credentials, thats your username and password in your antidetect browser or any IP whitelist you have set up with your supplier.

Either way, reaching out to your proxy supplier is the best option here as they should be able to take a glance at any errors your proxy is reporting and let you know what's not working.

Thank you guys a lot for the answers. I still don't know what it is but I'm speaking with the customer support now. Will update.

First, make sure you're using the correct kind of proxy for what you need and make sure you're getting quality IPs off of them. Check if the proxy and the anti-detect browser have been configured correctly, and also see if you get the same issue testing other anti-detect bowsers. Just a few things to narrow down where the information might be leaking.

You may need to check with your proxy provider to see if the domain you are trying to access is blocked.
