Help with promoting forum

I have a forum and it's not in a niche that is saturated with forums at all. I just need help in promoting it and getting it to the top for my keyword/s. Also how would I use scrape box to help we with this?

A forum works just like any other website, except you have constantly changing content. Google loves it! I would suggest a strong mix of white/black hat SEO, and some kind of system that encourages new users to join and share and discuss.

do not use scrapebox if you dont know how it works.

Learn the basic of SEO first.

Learn it manually before automating it.

For traffic, try link bait like yahoo answers, related blog comments, forums and more.

It is a MyBB forum and the nich is electro music or dubstep.

Update the content in your forum everyday,or buy some high PR back links.I agree with saber210,'do not use any SEO tools if you dont know how it works.'

Forum is a user content based website.

My first suggestion offer something special to your members to post useful things.

More members = more auto generated content = more traffic.

Get quality poster to your forum.

Some forum doesnt need SEO, they need members.

You should focus on members engagement in the forum.

More posts on the forum, more traffics for your website.

I'm not suggesting you go for Scrapebox if you don't know what you are doing with that.

Promote freebies in your forum, visitors must register to download or view the links, surely this will add more members to your forum.

You are competing with Future Producers forum of course - that has nearly half a million users. I'd suggest having a good look at their site for ideas.
