Does anybody know how people post these links:

example: htt ps: //twitter. com /SQTCOfYzbh6NyUW/status/1022608820051292160

Whenever I try posting a link to my site (not related to that type of business above) with a new account, it doesn't show up and must be blacklisted. So there must be a trick to get around it, and if anybody has any ideas, please PM me. Twitter marketing is a fairly large part of my business, so if your idea works, I'll tip you $20.

Thanks

I sent you a DM to get more info since you may not want to explain everything out in the open but I'm not understanding what you're trying to say.

When you say "not show up," what exactly are you saying, since that can be taken many different ways?

Do you mean that the link doesn't show up in the tweet?

The twitter card isn't showing?

Or the tweet itself isn't going through?

You see what I mean? I just need more clarity.

That looks to me like a Twitter Card, large size.

You use a Featured Image in your blog post and Twitter uses that image in the tweet.

But you need to use a plugin, or add the necessary tags in your header.

Yeah, but they're is currently a filter on new websites on twitter. If you look, they are somehow using google.plus to redirect, among other things. But anything I try, the tweet with the link in simply doesnt appear.

Well I'm not sure, but that must be the explanation, since my posts with the link aren't coming up. (I have twitter cards set up correctly btw).

Did you ever figure this out?

If not, I think it all comes down to what your site is promoting.

I've dealt with new sites in the past and never had this problem with any of them, but then again I wasn't promoting anything questionable either.

Because in the example given, that person is using redirects because they know that what they're promoting is fishy and against Twitter's TOS.

If you're promoting something similar, I can see why Twitter perhaps picked up on it and won't allow your link to go through, since you don't have any redirects in place.

They probably got special filters in place to keep these kinds of links off their platform, which again is most likely the reason why your example uses redirects to fool Twiter for as long as they possibly can.

I don't want you to think that I'm accusing you of anything, but at this point, since I'm unable to see your website, that's all that it could be honestly. Is that Twitter doesn't like your site.

If your site is legit, then reach out to Twitter's support team and let them know that you may have discovered a bug that's keeping your website URL from being promoted on their platform.

Hey, no, my website is in a different field than my link provided, and I didn't get it working. I'm planning on moving promotion to instagram instead. Thanks

I definitely like Instagram more than Twitter myself and have a journey thread open if you want to take a look at it.

The key with IG is to bot many accounts, get them built up so that you can create business profiles with them and then use Swipe up links in IG stories.
