Help, with new traffic?

Hi,

Ok, so my younger brother is on his first IM Journey and is trying to resell web design, SEO services and some fiverr gigs which will all be outsourced. Although he is having a difficult time getting traffic. His website monster-designs.com, if anyone wants to have a look.

This is what he has done so far
Created 40 manual social bookmarks
created microblogging links
Scrapebox Blast

So far there's just not enough traffic and hes thinking about SEO, Any suggestions to start driving in traffic?

He should start by not blasting his site with ScrapeBox.

btw: a handful of links isn't going to rank him for terms in this industry. You'd need thousands of quality links, unless you're going to market only to local area niches. He might just be better using PPC to drive traffic.

I looked at the site - the design is great, but it's not optimised for any keywords! Generic terms such as "web design" need millions of backlinks to rank. If you want an organic search to bring in customers, you need to optimise for niche terms (e.g. "simple wordpress web design"). A few backlinks will not help unless you have a solid plan.

Host some useful free content and promote on a blog (get a free one or embed on the site), make useful videos and embed them onto the site (this will help ranking AND get organic visitors from YouTube).
