Help With my VPS

    im sorry if this is not the right section for this thread

    my problem is the i have VPS windows 2008 r2 i have installed a Appserv on it
    the problem is i can see the appserv home page from the browser inside the vps but i can't from my computer browser

    this is the picture from the vps

    i used to set it up normally on my VPS 2003 but i got this time problem with 2008 server

    You should take a look at your firewall settings as a start.
    Try to disable it and see if it browsable from your home computer.

    Then, you would need to review your IIS settings and make sure your IP is bound properly.

    It could be possible that a firewall is blocking the networking communication between the server and local machine. So please try to disable the firewall and then check on your personal computer. If it works, then there would be two scenarios, firstly make sure that you have open all the current incoming and outgoing ports on the server, since sometimes it may be the reason of such type of issue. Secondly, it might be possible that some ports are blocked in the firewall due to which you are unable to access web page outside the web server.
