Hi guys,
I just created my new blog
The domain name is registered in 2002
Do you think it will help in ranking faster once I start making articles?
If someone can give a few tips of what I can do before I start writing articles would be appreciated!
I’m about to put a more simple and better theme with logo and can anyone recommend me what plugin I could use for setting up the SEO.

My apologies I didn’t know I wasn’t allowed to add my blog name. I seen 2 other posts in this section with 2-3 pages of replies and the authors had their blog names so I thought it was allowed
 
Just for your security, the member said to remove your domain name if possible edit your post now

For your question, setting up a normal theme and logo and posting unique and quality articles is the main step

After that promote your articles on social networks and build backlinks to them

Make consistent work and post quality articles only you can get improved results

It seems that your domain has a lot of spammy backlinks and has low authority

I don’t see any edit button I clicked on report button so they can remove the blog link or the topic entirely I’m still waiting for a response

I saw that when I used ahrefs and semrush. I was thinking on making a disavow list as it’s not that many links 42 domains and 1k links. Would that resolve the issue?
 
The age of the domain may provide some small advantage, but it won't guarantee faster ranking. Before writing articles, research relevant keywords, and optimize your website's structure and content. Yoast SEO is a popular plugin for WordPress that can help with SEO.
 
1. Publish niche relevant articles (at least 20)
2. Do inner link building (don't over optimize it)
3. Share your posts in Linkedin/Reddit and Twitter (if they are valuable)
4. Try to run a Youtube channel to get some extra traffic
5. After getting some traffic you can start link building (Get some quality GPs in your niche)
6. Keep writing

A domain from 2002 might give you a slight edge, but solid content and SEO are still key. For SEO, try plugins like Yoast or Rank Math. A clean theme and logo are great starts!

Just because domain is from 2022. it does not mean that it will rank fast. Lot of SEO has to be done.
 
A domain age doesn't directly impact ranking speed. Focus on creating high-quality, relevant content that meets search intent. Use a lightweight theme, optimize images, and choose a good SEO plugin like Yoast SEO or Rank Math. Don't forget to submit your site to search consoles.
