Help with music blog

Hi,

I about to set up few new sites for bands and see if i can get some traffic there.

My idea was to use wordpress with a video theme (Evid + phpmyvideoblog) for the music posts.

Could you reccomand a better scheme ?
what is the easyest way of grabing video's and music from youtube ?

Do you think that a site with video's works better then a site with a music playlist (tumblr..) ?

IMO, it would be better if you made youtube videos and promoted their channels instead.

I know someone who is now touring with the biggest rapper out there (j.cole).

He's 17 and has been making videos for years now. All his music videos have more than 100,000+ views.

If the band you're promoting has good music and offers something different to the music industry then you will get views. People will share and spread the link like wildfire.
