Hello everyone, what's good? :)

I'm in need of a little help, and thought it wouldn't hurt to ask in here for some assistance, thoughts, ideas...

Anything is welcome really.

So I've been using a mass page site strategy with affiliate marketing. And even though it works...it's absurdly inefficient, and I wanted to try to make it better (or completely ditch it if need be).

Basic strategy is as follows:

1) Find a product to promote.
2) Use KW research tool to find all the keywords related to that product, competitors and other related, low comp keywords.
3) Create an article (or a few of them) using a spinner like spin rewriter with your affiliate link. Add random images & videos.
4) Use SerpShaker for mass page production. 1 spinned post x keyword. Backdate everything.
5) Pray.

The problem, as some of you might see/know...is that praying isn't a great strategy.

Now, I estimate I've made around $35k with this strategy up until now...but I wouldn't recommend it to my worst enemies.

What happens, of course, is:

- Most pages don't get indexed.
- Traffic doesn't last much.

You might be thinking "well, duh."

and I get it...

But I'd love to try to make it better. Even if by a bit.

Would it be possible, or do you think I'm kinda wasting my time?

If it were possible to make better, what would that look like? Any tool that can be added?

Is the problem 100% the content, or am I clearly missing something?

Thanks so much for the help. :D

I would use a silo type of structure, and better interlinking to get better indexingm

Thanks for the input. Silo is something I've not checked, so I need to look into it.

As for interlinking, I've tried both with and without, but I'm not sure how impactful this is.

What I could do is maybe testing out doing nested interlinking, so as to make it more random. It's worth a test and haven't done it yet.

So instead of having the interlink be the whole text like this

{this is a spintax|spintax|spintax text}

I'd just use one of the words like so

{this is a spintax|spintax|spintax text}

Indexing was sort of an issue before the rankmath API. Right now, with it, it's not so bad. ;)

1) Find a product to promote.
This can be a problem. Mass works, because you actually go on, what I call "Grundrauschen" (Basic Noise, White Noise - I'm a former German ComInt Soldier =D).
What I want to say is, you get some traffic on keywords randomly, depending of your search volume. But it's just a very low amount of this search volume - Mass Spam builds on having this basic noise on an as broad base as thinkable.

For example - I don't look for products, I go on a broad basis - Amazon is great for this, works for adult stuff as well. Lets take AMZ as an example:
We will look, what keywords AMZ is ranking for, what is beeing searched. And then we search products for these keywords. You will end up in some million keywords with some billion search volumne and therefore a broad base where you can build Mass Domains with ~200-500k pages.

At least, what I could read from your setup, scale might be the problem - in products, perhaps in domains. And even performance - Mass Pages can be problematic here, my system got ddosed just by search engine bots several times...

I just looked up serp shaker, while the tool does sound interesting i don't think it'll be efficient in the long run especially with Google. Instead of doing this with your main website, what's stopping you from using these with parasite sites?

I only use random sites with this. Yes it's not very efficient. But it is pretty inexpensive to buy, say 10-20 sites, grab some text and keywords and see what happens. So you can test a lot of products, for not a lot of money.

Isn't SerpShaker dead?

Like I said...it's pretty inefficient :(

I see what you mean...

The max I like to have my websites at, is 25-30k posts. And the way I do my articles, would mean that I'd need to somehow be able to build different kinds of articles for all the different keywords I find (otherwise it would be even harder to rank) and I don't know how to do that.

Would you say mass sites are only really worth it at that 200k-500k amount of pages?

I think that the issue right now, is performance.

Scaling is somewhat easy, for example:

Say I wanted to go after saunas, as an affiliate product.

I'd go and find maybe 10-15k keywords, write a few articles and spin them, buy 10-15 domains at $7-$10 and run them (worst comes to worst you're down $200 buxs).

If it works, you can sort of do more...

If not, you can switch to cam sites, crypto, loans, supplements...Etc.

The issue is that out of 10 sites, you might have 1 that survives 3 months or 4. Optimizing that, would make the strategy worth it. :weep:

Yeah, I see your point. I only use dropped domains and have a good deal with my registrar (for de domains).
Mass pages with less sites can work - pretty well, if they are growing. I'm going more broad and I'm fine with just 1-2€ profit per domain, I just realease a lot of em. They burn fast but they tend to make their buck - for this case 250k-500k is a sweetspot, larger just means, it burns before it's crawled and will just waste performance. Less means less traffic in this small timeframe.
And I automated most processes - like registration, Cloudflare setup and settings and the page setup with sitemap generation, so I can release some theoreticly release some hundret domains per hour.

I see 2 points, you can improve - one very experimental but worth a try:
I'm testing my new text system. I did Bing Spam before and Bing was bitching around the last month, so I improved to avoid any dublicate content - I basicly took all my keywords, scraped the top 10 Serp Pages and took every single paragraph and heading and generated a very dirty spintax of em. Now one site of mine just picks those content parts randomly and uses it's spintaxes. This seems to work fine so far - but I can't tell if manual might be better and it needs cloaking, it's not human readable ;)

The other point is:
Do you push the pages to bing?
As said, I did mostly bing spam, it got it's flaws by now, but pages you send there will still generate traffic allmost imidiatly. They just burn fast, but it's free money and you will rank there for crazy keywords - for a limited time ;)
Pretty easy to get there - just get it into bing webmaster tools and send the sitemap(s).

The last issue is just black hat destiny - most will fail or burn. You can try to expand the time, until it burns - wich will take a lot of work - or just get 100 other domains out, wich should be less work and more win. You can try some tricks, like trying to botblock, to avoid cloaking detection and stuff like this. But in the most cases, you will have a better cost/win rate, by just scaling in the quantity, not quality.

To performance - what kind of system do you use?

1-2 euro profit per domain seems like way too little, unless you're buying tons and tons. But if that works for you, then that's awesome! I've never even considered past 30k articles x site.

I do add my sites to bing and google manually on search console and bing webmaster. My best performing site is mostly getting bing traffic right now.

With that said...I had no idea I could add automatically to cloudflare and scrape google top 10. Is there a specific tool that can allow me to do that? I think that could actually help make it a lot better.

As for the systems, I'm not sure I'm using any "systems" per se.

I do however use a wordpress template (where I create the articles, set a theme and add plugins) and then I export the whole site with all-in-one migration tool, onto blank sites.

So I buy the domains, integrate with cloudflare, set up wordpress, create a spintax article, and add sitemaps all manually. I suppose it's not all that automated :/

Instead of cloaking, I like adding a javascript backbutton onto my sites, to redirect the person over to my offer. When I've cloaked or added a 302 redirect, I've seen it screw up my rankings.

Yeah, let's just say that I owned ~50k .de domains at one point xD

Handling bing is easy to automate - but if you add it to google, it's easy anyway ;)

No, I got systems for it, but it's handcrafted. For scraping google Serps, I use DataForSeo, to get the urls and then go over it with a really dirty scarper. Because - it's mass anyway, if something fails, blocks or whatever - ignore it ;)

Ok, wow - and you made some 10k with it? Its possible with mass systems. But with WP , this is really lucky, cause WP has it's flaws in quantity. I would highly recommenced to learn some coding stuff (I mostly use Python + PHP, but this is up to you - JS is fine as well), that will allow you, to generate static html pages for example. This is mostly the next step from WP Spam ;)

All of this is automatable. I struggle with the Google Webmaster Tools, but the rest is doable. Buying domains and the criteria might need some manual work - My costs per domain are kind of low, though, so I mostly have really simple filters. Cloaking would be a gamechanger for you, though - Your domains will burn faster, yes, but your profit wil increase massivly. My AMZ Spam for example has a bot-view with the crawled nonsense spinned text and a user-redirect to my Amazon Partner Page, with just a kind of "product search" page for the keyword with the amz products. I use a backbutton script as well (in a rationed way), to let users go to the top AMZ product - just for cookie dropping (but I limit it so that my conversion rate doesn't die, of course.) This makes about 20%+ profit.

Why not spend time on social media to promote your site.
I've thought about this before, but I quickly realized that I couldn't do this on each individual site. Same as using an indexing service, for example. This is because I've got literally 200 sites online right now. Maybe there is a way to automate social media sharing that works?
Yeah, let's just say that I owned ~50k .de domains at one point xD
HAHA omg! Crazy

I'll have to check that, DataForSeo thanks for the tip.

Yes, so SerpShaker allows me to build around 30k posts on 1 wp site. Sometimes it does time out. I use shared hosting, which could be a problem, but hosting costs like $30 a year, and I do like 10-15 domains per hosting without issues. But you're 100% right, there is a limit to wp.

As for the coding, I was JUST checking other threads and a lot of them are mentioning python, yeah. Fortunately I do know some python...but probably not gonna be enough. So I'll definitely see if I go that route.
Cloaking would be a gamechanger for you, though - Your domains will burn faster, yes, but your profit wil increase massivly.

Cloaking scares me a bit. This is an example of one of my sites in the adult niche. I added 302 redirect on all pages, and it just tanked rankings. When I removed 302, everything went "back to normal". I was kind of lucky, usually they don't come back like that. If I add a backbutton js script, it's not so bad.

But I suppose that it does work for making fast money. And especially with sooo many domains.

Right, exactly. That's really cool. I can see that working for broad keywords and a lot of sites. Seems actually pretty scalable.

Well. I'll definitely see if I can somehow add more automation and/or python somehow onto this somehow ;)

Nice system. If you dont mind me asking how did you manage the hosting part of 50k websites?

And how did you interlink you static websites automatically? And do you silo your sites?

Nice system. If you dont mind me asking how did you manage the hosting part of 50k websites?
All domains are pointing (via cloudflare) on one nginx server. There is basicly a php file, that handles all the stuff, like finding out what domain it is and what path. All of this then requests the data of a python based FastAPI & MongoDB setup.
To keep randomization, I'm just getting a seed from the URL, so every domain has different content on the "same" page. With this frontend/backend system, it's basicly not important how many domains you host, the traffic can get a problem, espacially bot traffic.

For interlinking, I just cluster pages. cluster 1 links to cluster 2 links to cluster 3.... It's still a footprint of course, but hard to find with a large amount of clusters.
And no - no silo yet. I would have to categorize the keywords first, thought about using BERT or st for it. But I'm not sure, if the "price" can justifies the outcome, wich is allways the problem on mass systems ;)
Right now, I just put random internal links in the content (if we can call it content ;) ).
