Help With Keyword Research Niche Choosing

Hi,

I've joined so many programs and they all say different things and I just want to know what works. I want to build simple sites that target some amazon products and or adsense that I can rank easily.

What methods do you guys use, what criteria do you rely on and do you use any software, ie Market Samurai etc...

Get market samurai and use its keyword research tool. It has preset "golden rules" to follow for niches.

Then use the SEO competition tool to make sure you can top it.

If you'd like you can also use yahoo's backlink viewer to double check the pagerank of the backlinks.

That should be enough research to choose a keyword.
