Hello guys,
im not sure were to section this. IF im wrong , please mods, help me out :)

I have a friend that recently worked on an Slots app (no real money involved, just free with ads for the revenue to generate).

The question i have here is how can he get approved on apple app store? android store seems easy, its the Apple store that is the issue.

Anyone have any suggestions or know how to solve it?

All help is appreciated!
thanks

iOS approves these all the time, just gotta play by their rules.
Make it 17+, put the usual “entertainment only / no real money” disclaimers, and keep everything inside Apple IAP (no links to casinos, no cashout wording)

Drop a note for the reviewer saying it’s a social casino with virtual coins only, and give them unlimited coins so they don’t get stuck during review

If nothing looks like real gambling, you should be fine. Usually goes through in 1–2 tries

Thanks for the breef information!
If he, in near future changes mind and lets say he wants to charge for Coins, still " Free coins daily" but if you want more coins, you can buy bundles or packages:

100.000 coins : $9, 500.000 coins : $29 eetc etc. Would the process be same or harder to get approved?

Apple is much stricter with slot-style apps,
even if there’s no real money involved.

Common approval blockers are:
App metadata implying gambling
Missing “no real money” disclosures
Age rating and compliance details
Ads shown in gambling-like context

Usually it requires adjusting app description,
screenshots, and adding clear disclaimers
before resubmitting.
