Help with Hostgator Affiliate Links

Okay it seems like CJ made this as confusing as possible but I have a few q's about HG affiliate program.

1. How do you link directly to a hosting plan, like the shared hosting plan, instead of having the link go to the homepage of Hostgator?
2. Do you get a commission right away or only after they continue for one month?
3. Do any of the links have coupons (such as the one cent coupon) integrated into them or do you have to post a link and then say "oh and use this coupon."

I believe you get the commission if they stay on for 2 months.

correct , hostgator commision need lock 2 month.

- look in the banner section of the creatives list. they have links for like the homepage, directly to shared hosting, etc. just disect the banner code; grab the hostgator.com href and use that as your affiliate link. each lead takes like 3 hours to show up in your account.

- you only get paid if they stay for a full 2 months. each commission is manually reviewed too, so each lead must have legit looking sites with content and everything.

- you have to say "oh and use this coupon." if the creative doesn't specifically specify a promo (like the 1 cent promo)--BUT you can use coupon codes w/ hostgator, which is cool because other hosting companies don't allow that and will scrub the lead if they use one.
