I recently read somewhere that @ 80% of searchers avoid the paid ads and head straight to the organic results when looking for info. The source of this stat indicated that Google issued that information but didn't include a cite. Can anyone direct me to where I might find data to support that statement?

    Thanks!

I guess you can take a look at this - http://www.seomad.com/SEOBlog/google-organic-click-through-rate-ctr.html

The only thing that page is missing is CTR for Google maps... from my experience and observations, good 60% go to Google Maps listings alone... even if it's a 1box
