Help with Google Ads Appeal

Hey everyone,

After 5+ years, our Google Ads account was suspended for "compromised site" + "circumventing systems." We have no idea what "circumventing systems" refers to, but the site was actually hacked. To fix this, we completely rebuilt it from scratch on Framer—so it's 100% clean and secure now.

We've submitted appeals about five times, but they keep getting rejected with the same "compromised site" reason, which makes no sense since it's a brand-new site.

We can’t reach Google support in any way, even after spending $600k on ads.

Would anyone be able to help? Not sure how, but maybe someone has a contact at Google or any advice?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

A lot of people are dealing with this. So many of these compromised site warnings and disapprovals yet at best all you will get is an email to say "we can confirm your site contains malicious links or malicious content or malicious intent, but we not going to tell you" It's like dealing witha government agency. People have wiped their sites clean, changed servers and still "compromised site". Its really sad and frustrating. Perhaps their Q1 profits this year will show the effect of this stupidity.
 
A lot of time they mark some js library as miscellaneous file or images embedded from 3rd party site. If you are using some random js from less known sites then replace it. Also make sure there are no 404 error (check console for that)

Your site is flagged as Compromised in Google Ads due to:

  1. No SSL certificate → Google may flag it as insecure.
  2. Blacklisted by Google → You can check in Google Search Console → Security Issues.
  3. Third-Party JS or Images → Some JS libraries or embedded images are marked as suspicious.
  4. 404 Errors → Broken links or missing files (check the browser console). → No link should come from a 3rd party

    After fixing all this, appeal and it should come back
 
If you have affiliate links on the site and using pretty links etc, consider using naked affiliate links. That fixed our site.
 
How can you not have dedicated manager after 600k spend? What country is it?
Mine accounts are contacted after much much less spend, you sure you don't have anyone in your gmail who tried to reach you?
 
Does any of the email reply to your appeal state something like "We will not be reactivating this account" ? If so, then no point of appealing again thereafter.
Google does not bother even if one has spent a million US dollars in their ads. Google is toxic when it comes to Google Ads. They are happy enough with all the revenues it gets from the big major brands.

Brutal. Spending $600K and still getting ghosted is wild. If appeals aren’t working, try using a different Google Ads account or domain, or try escalating via a Google Ads rep if you have an old contact or posting on the Google Ads Community & Twitter (X) Sometimes public pressure works. Hope you get it sorted!
 
With compromise site, I was solve with appeal many time successfully with honesty appeal and fixed your domain site or clean up your themes. To appeal you have to explain by your own wording keep going appeal.

yes alot can go wrong these days. u should keep your ad website as clean as possible. wisely use LP.
 
I agree with what @Peteryim mentioned. Fix your landing page and website. Note that even some legit plugin(s) can get detected as malicious. Appeal after fixing issues with the landing page and website. Ofcourse, 99% of all appeals outcomes are decided by algorithms, but those algorithms will check if any proper fix has been done to the landing page and website, incase suspension reason is compromised site.
 
Google is flagging everything lately, appeals are useless now so looking for any legit bypass or working method if someone can help.
 
can you try check external security reputation, run your domain through:
  • https://transparencyreport.google.com/safe-browsing/search
  • https://sitecheck.sucuri.net/
  • https://www.virustotal.com/gui/home/url
if any still show "unsafe", Google will auto reject your appeal even if your site is clean to the eye

the best way to go is to build a new site and create a new google ads account
google doesn't listen to reason at times
 
Google’s manual reviews can be brutal. If you rebuilt the site fully, keep submitting appeals but tweak your site to remove any possible red flags—check for hidden scripts or old backlinks. Sometimes it’s just about persistence and waiting for the right reviewer. No magic fix here.
 
Are there one or more email addresses with administrative access?
