Hello, Everyone. I recently created a viral fan page. and its up to 50,000 fans so far. I want to throw some cpa ads on there to get a little something rolling in. Its not a specific niched fan page, but for anyone who has done this before, do i post the ad offer link as an update? and hope for conversions? Will I get banned for doing so by facebook?

Thanks in advanced. p.s im a noob.

cloak it, dont make it sound too spammy, and just put it in the status update.. aslong as you dont spam it, fb wont do anything

dont expect to get too much out of it...Targeting is king.

When you say Cloak it, how exactly do you do that? Or do you mean using short URL like bit.ly?

there's a cool plugin in discussed in this article that might be of help to someone in the OP's position.

i dont know much about facebook pages and policies, just throwing out a suggestion.

basically it's a plugin that lets you add your own html to a facebook page.

If you put that CPA FBML tab code on your 50k fan page it will be gone in a week.

You have to take them offsite to a blog or landing page and then don't spam it every hour. Once maybe twice a day.

Even then there is a chance you might get the fanpage banned, but in my opinion if you keep the page small and under the radar, you will be left alone.

This link is not working.

replace hxxp with http

and .c0m with .com

although from the sounds of it these guys are saying that this application is useless for what is being discussed here, although it might be of use to someone else, just does not apply to this thread.

No, its not useless. Far from it. You will make big cash quick and hard with it, but it won't last and you will be building the page up again.

Some people on here don't care as the couple days making a few thou a day offsets the hassle of losing the page.

Honestly, you are better to have 20 accounts with 5,000k fans each, then you spread your risk and it doesn't take as long to replace. But thats just my opinion. I don't like rework and I will take a little less money to avoid it.

I have page with 11k and i posted email submit offer 43 clicks and 1 leads 80 cents lol. I gotta back my cl :p

I have a 360,000 fan page and promote my other money pages and i haven't been banned. facebook is all talk

It just depends what your promoting. CPA is usually frowned upon. I had a email submit for one page and after it got 1k fans it got banned. They banned 2 other pages that were gift cards at the same time.
