Help With a Small Dog Walking Site?

Hi, a friend of mine has just started a dog walking business and wants me to help her with a website. It's a local business in the UK with very little competition in her area. She just wants a basic site so if anyone could suggest a simple, easy theme to use, I'd be grateful. I know there is a foresttheme called "onleash" but it's around 60 bucks and as she is just starting out she wants to keep her costs down.

Also, is there anywhere I could get royalty-free doc pics for free?

Depending on the cost she would consider getting someone to build the site (I haven't built a site for a long time). This would include the required pages, home, about us, contact, etc and any plugins that are required along with a niche related header.

Any advice is gratefully accepted.

I always go to https://gpldl.com/repository/premium-wordpress-themes/ to search for a theme that resembles my niche (at least remotely). take a peek, there is one for a pet shop, but that's not exactly what you need.

She's been doing it a few months for friends and relatives and then decided to go properly self-employed. She was going to do a government (UK) enterprise course where after completion she would get a weekly grant for a year to help her launch her business, but that was temporarily canceled recently because of the lockdown. She's obviously had to put things on hold for the time being.

She already has a decent client base and she was really excited to get things off the ground properly, which was good for her because she has been having a tough time over the last couple of years suffering from depression which led to an overdose last year. I didn't want her to lose her focus or passion for this while all this is going on, so I suggested that she get prepared for when the lockdown lifts, with a website, cards, leaflets etc, and she agreed and is looking forward to moving on.

Hi, I tried to do this. Too few customers. Maybe it depends on the city.

assuming that your friend want to host her site on some hosting site, the big majority offers templates for websites you just edit what you need to be edited, you buy the hosting and get the free template.

but you can have this all for free on some free hosting i guess http://000space.com is one of those, or https://www.000webhost.com/ , im just shouting some links that i remember that are free hosts and offers free templates

Get her business on Google my business it's easy to set up and free.
You might need to add customer reviews to get you in the 3 pack.
Like has already been said it's bad timing right now.
