Help with a drop shipping computer parts site

I'm looking at getting a drop shopping computer parts site built. While I have a good idea of what I am after, I don't have any experience in drop shipping sites as such so it would be appreciated if someone could outline what the key elements of a drop shipping ecommerce site are. Also what would people suggest it is built in - Wordpress, Joomla, Magento etc. There's going to be lots of parts so I will need a feature where I can enter the part name, number and category and it automatically fills in the title and description tags and avoids duplication errors.
