i used backlink watch to see backlinks (is this the best way to find out backlinks for a site)

why is this when theres big difference in backlinks

I'm curious about your question. You say that fixcleanerreview.com has many backlinks for fixcleaner review. Do you mean that it has many backlinks containing that anchor text? If so, this is working against it and not for it as too many backlinks with the same anchor text looks very unnatural and is leaving a clear footprint.

As for the other URL you posted, there could be a variety of reasons it is showing up number one for your query. For instance your location could be the reason it is showing up number one for you. It could also be that it has well developed on-site optimization making it appear very relevant to your query. There could be many authoritative backlinks leading to other pages that are linked internally to that specific URL making it rank higher in search.

Just checked with majectic seo, this page sbwire.com/press-releases/fixcleaner-review-a-good-registry-cleaner-179911.htm also got more than 500 backlinks.
