In my opinion Yoast SEO is the best plugin for SEO but if for some reason, you are troubled by it then the other equally god option is the RankMath plugin. It has been improved a lot since last year - a lot of bugs have been fixed and is optimized now. Rankmath gives scoring to the articles written and tells how much the content is SEO optimised which is pretty much what yoast does too

Due to Rank Math offers the same and everything is completely free [until now]. Likewise Yoast has been experimented issues with the latest updates. In my opinion that is the principal reason.

Try out Rankmath. It offers better features in a free version than what Yoast offers in a premium version.
