I have been running a video game website for the past few years and would appreciate if you could advise me on what steps to take next to help me rank higher, should I pay someone to help me with seo and keywords or does anyone have any ideas on what I can do to rank and get more visitors ?

Try, social media, forums and youtube. I would pay someone if you had the funds to rank your site. Btw what is your site and what does your revenue look like?

Tell us your revenue? Let's say you saw an improvement in the serps how greatly would that affect your revenue? For most game sites I've seen there traffic usually come from social media.

Do you have a forum section of your website? The membership options gives visitors the incentive to keep coming back.

Thanks for your kind words, im not getting much revenue from the site to be honest I get what i set out to do which is receive copies of games to review including all the AAA games etc. I just wanted to get more hits and higher on google (so does everyone else!) just not sure if I should spend money on SEO with someone or try and plug away and do myself etc....

my main clicks are from twitter and FB etc, just trying to get higher on google. Whats the best keyword SEO tool using mac? any ideas?
